About Ashley Williamson
Ashley Williamson, LMSW
Under directed experience and clinical supervision.
Therapy is a space where you can slow down and give attention to the parts of you that need it most- an act of self-love by showing up for yourself or by recognizing the need for change. I specialize in providing this space for individuals who are neurodivergent, queer, or have experiences of trauma where you can be your authentic self, unmask, and be met with unconditional positive regard.
As a neurodiverse and LGBTQIA+ affirming therapist, I work with teens and adults of all gender, sexual, and cultural identities. What feels most meaningful and fulfilling to me is offering a safe space to deconstruct shame, rebuild trust with your emotions, challenge limiting or negative narratives, explore your identity, and improve self-esteem. I deeply value helping you get to know and understand all of the different parts of yourself while supporting the healing process through compassionate self-awareness and integration.
My approach to therapy is person-centered, integrative, and holistic where I draw from a variety of modalities such as Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), somatic experiencing, relational, mindfulness and attachment-based practices. We will work together to figure out what you need and what feels best for you.
Whether you are beginning or continuing your therapy journey, I’m glad you’re here. If you’re interested in connecting to see if we would be a good match, please reach out for a free consultation. I would be honored to provide support as an empathetic witness on your journey of learning, growing, and healing.
