Do you feel exhausted by your relationships, even though everyone thinks you have it all together? Maybe you're ready to stop people-pleasing, stop carrying everyone else's emotions, and finally feel at peace in your own life. Or are you and your partner caught in the same fight on repeat, navigating the ripple effects of family dysfunction or addiction, or simply wanting to build a healthier foundation before life gets more complicated?
I work with both couples and individuals, bringing a holistic, mind-body lens to my work. If you're the peace-seeker, the high-achieving woman whose life looks put together from the outside but is privately exhausted by people-pleasing, over-responsibility, and relationship patterns you desperately want to change, this is who I'd be honored to walk through this with. I also work with couples and individuals impacted by addiction or family dysfunction, whether you grew up in a home shaped by it or are working through the betrayal trauma it often brings, work I find especially meaningful. And with couples building an intentional foundation before or early in marriage, I help you communicate better and navigate this season with intention.
More than any specific technique, I believe healing happens through a safe, consistent therapeutic relationship, the space we build together, session after session. I see you as the expert of your own life, and my role is to walk alongside you in becoming who you want to be. My approach is trauma-informed, drawing on person-centered therapy, motivational interviewing, psychodynamic theory, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Internal Family Systems. I'm also currently completing training in Somatic Experiencing, because sometimes the only way out is through. With couples, I use the Gottman Method to build communication, trust, and a stronger foundation.
Outside the therapy room, I'm a lifelong learner with a background in exercise science and years of experience as a fitness instructor, which still shapes the mind-body lens I bring to this work. When I'm not with clients, you'll usually find me on my yoga mat, out on a walk, or curled up with a good book or show. And if you ask my husband, he'll tell you an iced latte can turn around almost any day.
You don't have to keep carrying it alone. If you're ready to feel more at peace in yourself and your relationships, I'd love to help you find the clarity and connection you're looking for.
