About Hanna Oh
Hanna Oh, MFT
Navigating anxiety, relationship strain, trauma, life transitions, neurodivergence, or cultural differences can feel overwhelming—especially when you are trying to understand your own experience while staying connected to the people you love. You may feel stuck in recurring conflict, carry the impact of past experiences, struggle to communicate your needs, or feel unsure how to move forward.
As a master’s-level family therapist, I work with individuals, children, couples, and families navigating anxiety, relational challenges, trauma-related concerns, life transitions, neurodivergence, and cultural differences. I specialize in supporting multicultural couples and families and have experience working with neurodivergent children and their caregivers. I recognize that culture, identity, communication styles, developmental differences, sensory needs, and family expectations can all shape how people experience the world and relate to one another.
My approach is client-centered, systemic, strengths-based, and affirming. I believe you are the expert on your life, and I do not see one person as “the problem.” Instead, we will collaboratively explore the patterns, relationships, and protective strategies that make sense within your unique circumstances.
I blend Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to help individuals and families better understand emotions, clarify what matters most, and create meaningful change. With children, I use art and play-based interventions to support expression, emotional understanding, and connection while collaborating with caregivers around communication, co-regulation, and family routines. With couples, I integrate EFT and the Gottman Method to strengthen communication, interrupt negative cycles, manage conflict, and build greater emotional safety.
Whether you are seeking support as an individual, couple, or family, therapy can offer a space to feel heard, gain clarity, and create more connected and sustainable ways of moving forward. I would be honored to support you in creating changes that feel meaningful and sustainable.
