About Delaney Banzhof
Delaney Banzhof, MS
Under directed experience and clinical supervision
Delaney is a therapist who works with pre-teens, adolescents, and adults navigating challenges related to ADHD, executive functioning, autism, identity development, and anxiety or depression. She is especially passionate about supporting neurodivergent clients in understanding themselves more deeply and building lives that feel both sustainable and meaningful. She also works with parents and caregivers of neurodivergent children, helping them better understand their child’s needs while developing practical, realistic strategies that actually work at home.
Delaney takes a collaborative, nonjudgmental, and strengths-based approach to therapy, drawing from DBT, CBT, person-centered therapy, and post-rationalist cognitive therapy. Her work is grounded in a social constructivist perspective, meaning she views each client’s experiences, identity, and environment as central to how they understand themselves and the world. Rather than focusing on what’s “wrong,” she helps clients make sense of their experiences, recognize their strengths, and build strategies that fit their lives.
As a neurodivergent therapist herself, Delaney brings both personal insight and clinical knowledge into her work. She is committed to providing neurodivergent-affirming and LGBTQ+ inclusive care that prioritizes understanding, self-trust, and adaptation over masking or burnout. In addition to individual therapy, Delaney has experience leading executive functioning groups, where she helps clients build concrete skills in areas such as organization, time management, and task initiation in ways that are flexible, individualized, and actually usable in day-to-day life. Delaney values honesty, authenticity, and a strong therapeutic relationship. She aims to create a space where clients feel genuinely understood, while also being gently challenged in ways that support growth without feeling overwhelming.
