About LeeAnna Strickland

LeeAnna Strickland, MS, Life & Career Coach

Under directed experience and clinical supervision

Are you or your child struggling to feel understood, regulated, or at ease in daily life? Does it feel like your mind knows what to do, but your body will not follow?

You are in the right place.

I work with children, adolescents, and families, using an integrative approach tailored to each client's needs. My work draws on play therapy and art therapy to meet younger clients where they are, alongside DBT informed skills, somatic experiencing, and mindfulness practices that support the connection between mind and body. With adults and parents, I take a client centered, solution focused approach, blending eclectic techniques with practical, present focused strategies to help clients move toward the change they are seeking.

I also work with clients navigating career questions and transitions, whether that means figuring out a first career path, considering a change, or feeling stuck and unsure of the next step. I enjoy helping clients explore their strengths and preferences, and get clear on what is genuinely aligned with who they are and how they move through the world, so their career choices feel less like guesswork and more like an extension of themselves.

My background includes clinical work with children, teens, and families across intensive in-home, residential, and long term and short term inpatient psychiatric settings, which has shaped a trauma informed and developmentally attuned lens in everything I do. I believe healing happens not just through insight but through the body and nervous system, and I bring yoga informed tools and nervous system regulation into sessions alongside traditional talk therapy.

My goal is to create a warm, welcoming space where clients of all ages feel seen, supported, and empowered to grow at their own pace. If this feels aligned for you or your child, I welcome the opportunity to connect.
