Aven Barbosa is a passionate and empathetic counselor dedicated to helping couples and individuals create meaningful change in their lives. With a strong commitment to integrative and holistic care, Aven creates a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel genuinely heard, respected, and supported throughout their therapeutic journey.

Aven primarily works with couples and adult individuals, drawing from evidence-based approaches including Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS). Her work with couples focuses on improving communication, deepening emotional connection, and navigating conflict with compassion and clarity.

In addition to supporting individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and relationship stress, Aven has a special passion for working with women navigating life challenges and transitions, including the emotional and physical changes associated with perimenopause. She strives to help clients reconnect with their identity, improve emotional well-being, and foster healthier relationships with themselves and others.

Grounded in a client-centered philosophy, Aven approaches each client with warmth, authenticity, and the belief that lasting growth is possible through collaborative, strengths-based work.
